Thinkathon activities challenge students' higher-level thinking skills and offer teachers an excellent evaluation tool. This volume is divided into six activity sections: Analogies, Language Skills, Categorization, Brainstorming, Memory Skills, and I.Q. Testers.
Each activity is designed to be completed in fifteen minutes; two for teacher direction and thirteen for student completion. The activities may be used in individual or class practice in these skill areas. They may also be used as an exciting contest.
